Bryant E News – February 1, 2020

Dear Friend,

What a week it was in Springfield. Tuesday began with a former State Senator pleading guilty to bribery, and Wednesday Governor Pritzker called for passage of ethics reforms that I have been sponsoring for months.

Today’s Bryant E News recaps my reaction to Wednesday’s State of the State address. I’ve got my video and press release reactions for you and and photos from a special prayer rally held in Springfield prior to the start of the 2020 Session.

I’ve also penned an op-ed that lays out my thoughts on the State of the State, corruption and ethics reform, property tax relief, and fairly drawn legislative maps. Let’s get to it! Thank you for reading!
